Dasha grew up in Moscow, USSR for the first 10 years of her life before immigrating the the United States in 1980. She experienced both Totalitarianism in the USSR and Freedom in America instilling in her true appreciation for American as the land of liberty and opportunity. Low Taxes

Though Trump’s tax bill cut taxes for the vast majority of Americans. Following this tax reform, individuals, families, and communities across the country have been reaping the benefits of bigger paychecks, lower taxes, and more economic opportunities. Heritage Foundation study has shown these tax cuts have helped individuals in every Congressional district, including the PA-5. Biden Administration Mandates, have been reversing those cuts, creating unforeseen hardships on families. Dasha supports decreasing taxes even further and increasing the economic freedom of businesses and families. Congress must maintain and extend the TCJA to avoid stifling economic growth and burdening constituents with higher taxes and reduced take-home pay.

Fair Trade

By increasing the freedom and openness of economies around the globe is a win-win situation for all parties involved. It will increase the quality of life of Americans by increasing access to more products, services and reduces the global inequality of personal well being. Dasha supports the USMCA and the re-authorization of the GSP and Miscellaneous Tariff Bill. That said, we must fight to keep our manufacturing jobs in America. We must put American workers and families first.

Energy Independence

As fuel prices skyrocketing, and effecting every aspect of our life from food shortage, to heating our homes, as well commuting to work, most Americans are feeling the pinch. Biden’s stroke of a pen, shut down our Keystone pipeline, and give Putin a green light to proceed with the Nord Stream pipeline with Germany, that became a geopolitical lever. This does not take in to consideration the number of pipeline workers who are now unemployed, as well as the communities who were dependent on those workers as well. Though we should be mindful of our environment, we must become energy independent. Our politicians should not sell us out to the lobbyists, in order to line their pockets, by exploding the citizens they sign up to represent.

Jobs

Though we were poised for a strong recovery from Covid-19. It has been 4 years where the unemployment rate have fluctuated. The draconian and inconsistent rules have put many small business in hardships, some shutting their doors forever. The $15 minimum wage is destroying entry level jobs, as well as mom and pop restaurants and business. In order for these temporary job losses to not become permanent, it is critical that the government get out of the way of employers, workers, schools and families. To reduce regulations and stronghold of small business, farming and energy industries.
